It Started Just Like That
The Morning Crew International Christian Fellowship (MCICF), commonly known as the #MorningCrew, started on October 13, 2016, as a live video broadcast, on the Facebook profile page of Alphina ByFaith, while she sat in her bedroom closet and began to pray on camera. In her own words, “God is the founder. I just turned on the phone and obeyed.”
We are a community of early risers who gather daily to hear Him, according to Luke 21:38. Our motto remains that A PRAYER LIFE IS NOT OPTIONAL.
Daily Broadcast
The daily broadcasts started as a forty day personal goal by Alphina, and challenge to share the Gospel on her social media platform, after having been inconsistent in past attempts (on different platforms) to do the same. She commenced the broadcast through Facebook Live Video, at 6:00 am EST M – F, and 7:00 am EST on weekends, and simply shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and song. From all around the world, friends, family members, and strangers, logged on to listen, pray along, participate in the monthly challenges, and share the videos with loved one.

The Morning Crew
In summary what we do daily is pray early in the morning. We did it for a year daily, and in the 13th month, we commenced our outreach events.
Why Prayer
1 John 5:14 - this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
The Gospel is the good news that God is restoring our broken lives through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And prayer is the key to a successful Christian's life. You cannot have a relationship with the Lord Jesus without praying to Him, talking to Him, and having Him live in you by accepting Him as you Personal Lord and Savior. Having a prayer life will bring you to personal salvation, increase your spiritual growth and bring you fullness of joy, help to to win against the devil, flee temptation, obtain mercy and grace, give you grace for holiness, and give you strength to carry out exploits.
Why Now
Prayer has always existed, but our generation needs prayer now than ever before. At the Morning Crew, the Holy Bible is our foundation and what we depend on. We pray the Word of God, and also apply it by confession into our lives. We continue to experience the power of prayer in our daily lives. Everything we do in this fellowship is because we have first prayed.
Ephesians 6:18 - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
